Save A Task

Create a task or update one with revision safety.

MCP save_task

Parameters

Creation requires title; optional fields are description and parentId. An identical retry from the same chat replays the first create, so requestId is only needed for a deliberate identical second task. Updates require id, the latest positive revision, and at least one of title, description, state, or assignment.

state accepts todo, in_progress, in_review, or done. assignment accepts take or release. Project and author are inherited.
